Ingredients
  

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 Pck. baking powder
  • 150 g grounded hazelnuts
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple sauce
  • 300 ml soy milk
  • 150 ml oil
  • chocolate chunks optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 25-cm loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, ground hazelnuts, and baking powder. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix together soy milk, unsweetened applesauce and oil. Stir until well combined.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently fold the mixture together until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in a dense cake.
  • Add Chocolate Chunks: Optionally, fold in chocolate chunks or chips into the batter for extra richness and flavor.
  • Pour into Pan: Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
