Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
Sauté the Onions: While the pasta is cooking, heat a bit of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
Make the Creamy Sauce: Once the onions are cooked, pour in the vegan cream and sprinkle in the nutritional yeast flakes. Stir well to combine and let the sauce simmer for a couple of minutes until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can loosen it up with a bit of pasta water.
Serve and Enjoy: Divide the pasta among serving plates or bowls. Garnish with your favorite herbs, veggies or smoked tofu for more protein, and sprinkle some extra nutritional yeast on top if desired. Enjoy :)
