Vegan Marble Cake

Ingredients

  • 300 g vegan Butter soft
  • 257 g Sugar
  • 500 g Flour
  • 3 tbsp Applesauce
  • 200 ml soy milk
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp Baking powder

For the chocolate dough

  • 30 g Cocoa powder
  • 25 g sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp Soy milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 Grad
  • Mix the soy milk with the apple cider vinegar and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • Mix the softened butter with the applesauce and sugar.
  • Then add the flour, baking powder, and soy milk, and mix everything together until you have a smooth, lump-free batter.
  • Pour half of the batter into the greased pan and then proceed with the chocolate batter.
  • For the chocolate batter, add cocoa powder, sugar, and soy milk, then mix everything together.
  • Pour the chocolate batter over the light batter in the pan and use a fork to create a beautiful marble pattern by swirling the batters together.
  • Bake the cake for 40-50 minutes
